Attendance of Private Investment Club meetings or use of it’s online discussion forum constitutes acceptance and agreement to our Club Code of Conduct. If you violate the Code of Conduct, we reserve the right to terminate all accounts belonging to you or refuse entry without prior notice. We prefer to advise users of inappropriate behaviour, however, flagrant and repeated violations of our CoC will result in an immediate ban. Our failure to enforce this policy, for whatever reason, shall not be construed as a waiver of our right to do so at any time.

We created the Code of Conduct to provide a basic understanding of what's allowed and not allowed in our forum/meetings. The following are guidelines for the establishment and enforcement of our CoC:

General

• All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner which respects other individuals.
  
• This is not a whiners club. No complaining or badmouthing permitted.
  
• No Solicitation. There will be zero tolerance for any form of solicitation of unrelated products or service (including real estate agency, mortgage brokerage & MLM opportunities). If you wish to advertise, please contact the moderators.
  
• As a member of our forum/meetings, you must participate responsibly. If you have any questions regarding our CoC, please contact any of our forum moderators via email.
  
• The penalties and consequences of any breach of the rules of conduct will be decided by the Club Moderators.

Online Discussion Forum

• Review your messages before posting them. Keep them professional and polite.
  
• All posted messages must be directly related to the primary purpose of the forum. The purpose of the Private Investment Club Discussion Forum is to provide a public forum for open discussion of real estate investment related issues.
  
• To protect our forum members and prevent traffic redirection and web spiders from capturing your email, any reference to website or email will automatically be deleted/encrypted.
  
• Any user who seems to have created their account solely to promote another site will be permanently banned.
  
• You may not harvest email addresses from our forums for any purpose
  
• No Spam. Spamming can be defined as either posting multiple times about the same thing or starting multiple topics about the same thing. There are other actions that are considered spamming such as constantly posting comment that have nothing to do with the forum at hand. Spam will be deleted without warning.
  
• No slander. Treat others in your messages as you would like to be treated yourself. Insults, language or anything offensive will be deleted without warning if considered unacceptable by an official Moderator. Content that is insulting to anyone based on gender, lifestyle, religion, ethic group, race etc. is unacceptable and will be deleted without warning.
  
• Site moderators reserve the right to edit, delete, or ban any content found on this forum without warning.
  
• You are required to keep your forum account's email address up-to-date. If a warning sent to the email address on record bounces, your account will be banned and you will have to contact the site administrator to have your account unbanned
• No "Contact Me" Posts - do not ask to be contacted by email or phone in your post so do not include your email address or phone number in the body of your post.
• By posting in our discussion forum, you permit Private Investment Club and its affiliated sites (collectively “PIC”) the right to publish your submission online or in print. If the submission involves copyright material, you agree to transfer the copyright to PIC.

Club Meetings

• One of the most powerful benefits of Private Investment Club meetings is networking with other successful real estate investors. Members are encouraged to get business cards to pass out in order to keep in touch with other Club members.
  
• Let people know why you're there. If you sit in the corner drinking coffee, you aren't networking and marketing your most valuable asset...YOURSELF!
  
• Club attendees are not permitted to tape/and or record meetings/events.
  
• Show up early so you don't disrupt the meeting.
  
• NO SOLICITATION - There is a "zero tolerance" policy for any form of solicitation. Distribution of any material is strictly forbidden unless prior consent has been given by the President & CEO, Sunil Tulsiani.
• Unprofessional behaviour or any sort of conduct which is deemed a cause of disruption of the meeting/event will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave the room and meeting/event immediatelty.
• No member or guest is permitted on stage to either control, host or disrupt the meeting without the prior consent of the President & CEO Sunil Tulsiani.
• Do not shout out questions to the speaker, raise your hand.
  
• Do not stand in the back of the room and speak while the speaker is onstage.
  
• Close the door quietly when you leave or enter the room.
• Rude behaviour will not be tolerated.
  
• Turn off the ringer on cell phones during meetings event.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Contrary to popular beliefs, the CoC isn't designed to cover everything. We may act - issue a warning, ban your account(s) and/or IP addresses, lower your post count, delete/edit your post(s)/thread(s), etc. - if, in our judgment, you undertake any conduct that is deemed to be counterproductive to the establishing guidelines of the Code of Conduct.

DISCLAIMER: I agree that Private Investment Club (PIC) has the authority to cancel or terminate any membership without advance notice at the sole discretion of the President & CEO, Sunil Tulsiani should any of the code of conduct rules be broken. Private Investment Club can also refuse entry of any members/guest to a meeting/event organized by Private Investment Club organized at thier own discretion.
